Drain Cleaner

For a light drain cleaning you will need to mix 1/2 cup salt in one gallon of water, heat ( not boil) and pour the mixture down the drain.

For a stronger cleaning, you will need baking soda and vinegar.  First pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the drain, later pour the 1/2 cup of vinegar. Boil water and pour it down the drain after 15 minutes of pouring the baking soda and vinegar.

J&B – Commercial Cleaning Company – suggest you to use this homemade solution with metal plumbing, not with plastic pipes, since they can melt.  Also, J&B recommends to do not use this homemade solution for commercial drain.
