Homemade Desinfectant

For a homemade desinfectant, you will need the following items:

  • 2 teaspons of borax
  • 4 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 3 cups of hot water

Follow the instructions below:

  1. Mix all the ingredients
  2. Wipe on with dampened cloth

For a homemade toilet bowl cleaner, you will need the following items:

  1. 1/4 cup of baking soda

  2. Pour the mixture into basin.
  3. Let it set for a few minutes.
  4. Scrub with brush and rinse.

Homemade Silver Cleaner

For a homemade silver cleaner, you will need the following items:

  1. 1 piece aluminum foil (big enough to cover the bottom of the cleaning container)
  2. 1 to 2 tablespoons baking soda
  3. 2 quarts very hot water

Follow the instructions below:

  1. Lay the aluminum foil along the bottom of a plastic or glass container.
  2. Place the tarnished silver on top.
  3. Sprinkle the silver with baking soda, and cover it with very hot water.
  4. Soak until bubbles stop.
  5. Rinse and polish the silver with a soft cloth.

The homemade silver cleaner removes tarnish uniformly. J&B recomends to avoid using it with antique or intricately patterned silver.

For a homemade Wall cleaner, you will need the following items:

  • 3 quarts water
  • 1 quart chlorine bleach
  • 1/8 cup TSP (trisodium phosphate)

Follow the instructions below.

  1. Fill a 2-gallon bucket with the water.
  2. Carefully add the bleach and TSP.
  3. Mix well.
  4.  Apply the cleaner with a sponge or soft brush, working from the bottom up—it’s easier to clean streaks off of a clean surface.
  5.  Rinse the surface with a cloth dampened with clean, warm water.

In order to avoid damaging the wallpaper or paint with this cleaner, test it on an unremarkable spot.
